From that wisely placed bottle of soda to the types of cameras used or even clothes in a movie, advertising brings in big bucks to the film industry. Just this past year, advertising revenue jumped up 18.5%, to 539.5 million dollars

The time has come to nationalize the oil companies George Kalishevich - Coaldale, Pa. I keep reading about the many proposed solutions to the high price of oil and how, according to a USA TODAY article, they won't work immediately ("Which way out?," Cover story, News, Friday). It could be a lot simpler than that. The time to stop catering to Big Oil with tax breaks, tax incentives and favorable laws is long since past. Continue reading.
